Privacy policy

How we collect, use and protect your data on Treinou. We take privacy seriously here.

Last updated: July 15, 2026

1. Who we are

Treinou (treinou.app) is responsible for processing your personal data. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and what you can do about it.

2. Data we collect

Account data: name, username, email and, if you use social login, your Google or Apple identifier.

Content you create: check-ins, photos, stories, comments, reactions, challenges and groups.

Progress data: logged workouts, streaks, achievements and — if you choose — weight and body measurements.

Technical data: device information, usage logs and notifications, used to operate and improve the app.

3. How we use your data

We use your data to: create and maintain your account; show your feed, groups and ranking; send notifications and recaps; ensure security and prevent abuse; and improve the service.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

4. Private by default

Weight and body measurements are private by default — only you can access them. Check-ins, stories and comments are shared with groups and followers as you choose to post them.

5. Sharing

We share data only with providers who help us run the app (for example, storage and notification delivery), always under confidentiality obligations, or when required by law.

6. Retention

We keep your data for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, we remove or anonymize your personal data, except what we must keep for legal reasons.

7. Your rights

You can access, correct and delete your data, as well as request portability or object to certain processing, in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

To exercise these rights, contact us at [email protected].

8. Security

We apply technical and organizational measures to protect your data. No system is 100% secure, but we work to reduce risks and respond quickly to incidents.

9. Minors

Treinou is not intended for children under 13. If we learn we have collected data from a child without proper consent, we will remove that information.

10. Changes and contact

We may update this policy. Significant changes will be communicated in the app or by email. Privacy questions? Write to [email protected].
